How to change registration information in XP

To change this information you will need to edit the registry.

Click Start then Run and type regedit and click OK.

Locate the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion

In the right panel, double click RegisteredOrganization.

Type in the new organization information and click OK.

Next, double click RegisteredOwner and put in the name of the new owner and click OK.

Close the Registry Editor and reboot.
